The fast-casual burrito restaurant, Chipotle, has found itself the subject of a lawsuit alleging violations of federal labor laws specifically unpaid wages.   

Currently, over 10,000 Chipotle employees have joined the collective-action lawsuit which states that Chipotle "routinely requires hourly-paid restaurant employees to punch out, and then continue working until they are given permission to leave."  If true, then Chipotle is egregiously in violation of labor laws and is susceptible for payment of significant penalties/fines and past due wages owed to employees.  While Chipotle was once considered the paradigm for businesses, within all sectors, it appears that their frequent miscues has shifted that notion.
