Rising Star

Alari K. Adams was selected as a 2016 Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star.  This designation is conferred upon the most respected legal practitioners in the state and is based upon peer recognition and professional achievement.  Rising Stars are those up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years of age or younger and have practiced law for 10 years or less.  No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Michigan are selected to receive this honor.

A Law for Foodie Entrepreneurs

In 2010, Michigan enacted the Cottage Food Law to assist food-based entrepreneurs with retailing their respective food product to the public despite not being prepared in a commercial kitchen.  

The Detroit News recently wrote an article detailing how the law and the Eastern Market Corporation has assisted with the growth of food entrepreneurs throughout southeast Michigan.
